Stock market and discount stock brokers
When I invest in the stock market I use Scottrade. I was a broker at Merrill Lynch and in my opinion they are very over priced. I use to use Vanguard and nothing special in terms of price but their customer service was bad, at least in my experience. Scottrade never had a problem and it is very cheap. There is no reason not to use a discount stock broker while trading in the stock market. You will save money and your judgement will not be clouded by self promoting companies like Merrill or Vanguard. I am sure there are cheaper by a dollar a trade less type services but for all around service and price Scott trade is the best broker and discount stock broker in the stock market.
