The key question about government and the economy is this – do you want to work for another man’s wife?
The founding fathers of our country understood this.
Government and the Economy
The economics of government: Why should you work for another man’s wife? Why should you pay for the risk, poor management and excess credit of your neighbor or Wall Street? government’s economics just reinforces the status quo.
With the economics of government you will have to pay for mistakes of other people and businesses with your tax dollars. This is why I am opposed to the government economic plan. You will be working hard for another man’s wife.
Why not allow others who did not take foolish risk, to have a chance at owning a home or starting a business, rather than tax these people and make them pay for other people’s lifestyle?
Government’s economics supports those who do not know how to run their lives or businesses. It supports ‘the haves’ and punishes ‘the have nots’. In a very real sense government will make these frugal people pay for the ways of the foolish and work for another man’s wife. Even if not directly, via the ‘crowding out affect in economics’. Give other people a chance.
What if the Economy goes down without government
If government did not try to spend his way out of the economic recession, what would happen? The economy might go down. But it is only money. A recession in the USA is not like life during WWII or Communism, it will be hard for a few years, but the USA is very rich country, the people are tough. An economic recession in the USA can not be compared to ‘day to day life’ during WWII or in South American slums today. The economy will reorganize and responsible people will be better off and the status quo will be broken.
Government’s Economics will make you poor
I am an American and I live in Poland. I have seen with my own eyes what socialism and communism does to an economy and people’s freedom and spirit. The US under government’s economic policies will go backward, not because of the lack of government help, but because of government takeovers and increasing control over people via taxes and future taxes (debt). I live in a former socialist country, believe me, it is not fun when the government takes things over.
The real economic questions are: Why do you think the government knows how to spend your money, better than you do? Do you really want to be working for another man’s wife?
