  • New recommendation on online security

I recommend puppy Linux a lot as I am a geek and understand how safe it is. However, there is a sub-version of Puppy that is easier to use and faster for most people. Try www.browserlinux.com – I just burned it to a USB stick and it works with little to no set up. You can of course use it on a CD.

If you use something like this your online security is greatly increased as everything is stored in the RAM and wiped clean after shut down. This means if someone raids your house or steals your computer, they find nothing on your computer. Hackers can not put anything on your computer and you can do online banking as long as your browser is secure.

The only thing I do is install Microsoft fonts and java to make my online experience a little better. So try browserlinux if you want are concerned about security.
